| Biography |
Capturing God's wonderful creation is Maurene's primary objective in photography; for her it is a passion that comes from God. Mau--as she is known among the Pinoy Pentaxians--started photography in 2004 when she began using her sister's Vivitar 300s (a K-mount camera). Eventually, she acquired her own camera when a friend, who happens to be a photographer, sold a used Pentax MZ-60 with two Tamron lenses. It was a romance that blossomed as she decided to stick with Pentax from then on. A true Christian, a techie, a geek and she loves to travel. Trained as an engineer she works in the field of IT, preferring to face an computer more than anything else. If not in front of a computer, she's probably taking photographs or is in the church serving in the ministry. Pentax MZ-60, K100D Super, SMCP DA 18-55, Tamron 75-300 & the SDF :-) |
